Senior Product Manager – AI Analytics & Adoption

Engineering San Jose, California Req.Num.: 31221

Hungry, Humble, Honest, with Heart.

The Opportunity

At the Nutanix CS 360 Pro team, we have successfully built a search-based user experience powered by a data warehouse and backed by a complex hybrid and multi-cloud data pipeline. As we scale, we are expanding our focus to provide deep visibility into product consumption and customer health.

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Product Manager to spearhead our Adoption Analytics & Dashboarding charter. In this role, you will lead the CS 360 Pro engineering team in building comprehensive adoption dashboards that serve as the "single source of truth" for customer health, while also collaborating with peer PMs to integrate next-generation Gen AI/ML capabilities—such as churn prediction and automated insights—into the platform.

Nutanix has maintained an industry-leading 90+ NPS score for the past 10 years. A key driver of this success is CS 360 Pro, a search-based analytics platform built by the SaaS Engineering team. This platform enables our Customer Success, Sales, and Support teams to proactively understand customer needs, ensure retention, and discover expansion opportunities.

CS 360 Pro empowers users to build complex reports and dashboards without writing SQL, translating natural language and UI interactions into complex queries on the fly. The CS 360 engineering and PM team members are based in India, while the Product Management leadership and other peer PMs are based at Nutanix HQ in San Jose.

About the Team

At Nutanix, the CS 360 Pro team is a collaborative group that thrives on harnessing diverse perspectives and skills, making it a truly dynamic environment. With a geo-dispersed team size that brings together talent from various locations, we value open communication and teamwork, allowing us to tackle challenges and innovate effectively. Our culture emphasizes support and collaboration, ensuring that every team member feels engaged and valued.

You will report to the Director of Product Management, who champions our mission and encourages every team member to contribute to our shared goals. The work setup is hybrid, with the expectation of being in the office three days a week, facilitating meaningful interactions and collaboration with your teammates.

Your Role

As the Senior Product Manager for CS 360 Pro, you will own the Adoption and Usage Analytics track. You will be responsible for defining how Nutanix measures and visualizes customer success, translating raw telemetry into actionable dashboards for CSMs and Executives.

Simultaneously, you will act as a key partner in our AI evolution. You will share responsibilities with the wider PM team to infuse AI/ML/NLP capabilities into these dashboards, ensuring that our analytics are not just descriptive, but predictive.

Adoption Dashboard Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Usage Analytics & Forecasting Dashboards. Define key adoption metrics (license utilization, hypervisor adoption, feature adoption etc.) and visualize them to drive proactive customer success motions.

Data Visualization Leadership: Lead the design and delivery of intuitive, high-impact dashboards that allow non-technical users to drill down from executive summaries to cluster-level details.

AI/ML Collaboration: Collaborate with peer PMs to integrate AI-driven insights into adoption views—specifically focusing on AI-based churn analysis, renewal forecasting, and "plain English" insight generation.

Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Product leadership to capture reporting needs and define the "Golden Metrics" for product health.

Technical Product Ownership: Leverage your hands-on SQL skills to analyze data at various points in the pipeline, ensuring the data models support both robust dashboarding and NLP translation.

Adoption Evangelist: Act as the evangelist for adoption data, training internal teams on how to interpret usage patterns and promoting the use of AI features to augment their analysis.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a specific focus on Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), or Data Visualization products.
  • 8-10 years of total industry experience in customer data management or SaaS platforms.
  • 5-8 years of industry experience as a Product Manager or similar role, with a focus on data-driven products and AI/ML technologies.
  • Dashboarding Mastery: Proven experience building complex dashboards and reporting tools. You understand the difference between "data" and "insights" and know how to tell a story with data.
  • AI/ML Familiarity: At least 2 years of exposure to AI/ML product lifecycles (either as a PM or Developer), with an understanding of how to apply AI to data analytics (e.g., predictive modeling, anomaly detection).
  • SQL Proficiency: High proficiency in writing SQL queries to explore datasets, validate engineering outputs, and prototype logic for new metrics.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail—you can spot when a metric "doesn't look right" and investigate the root cause.

Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with modern AI stacks (RAG, MCP, OpenAI, Claude, Llama) and how they can be applied to text-to-SQL or automated reporting.
  • Knowledge of Quote-to-Cash processes (opportunity pipelines, quoting, licensing, renewals) and how they intersect with product usage data.
  • Experience with Cloud data services (Snowflake, S3) and ETL/Data Pipeline technologies.
  • Understanding of web development technologies (ReactJS, Java) to better communicate with engineering leads.
  • Experience working with distributed Scrum teams, particularly collaborating with data engineers and UI developers.
